WINTER 2026 OYL RESULTS

Congratulations to the winners of the Winter 2026 season of the Online Yorkshire League:

Division 1 – Leeds B

Division 2 – Sheffield Falcons

Division 3 – Scarborough.

On the third match day, 1st February , two matches were not played – the division 1 match between Malton A and Leeds A, and the division 2 match between Sheffield Falcons and Wetherby Bookworms. In each case a match result has been adjudicated by the Yorkshire League Committee in accordance with the competition rules.

Thanks to all who took part in this competition and particularly the match secretaries, team captains and players who set up matches on BBO.

The next season of the Online Yorkshire League will be in the summer, with a compact programme of match days on 7th and 21st June and 5th July.   Make anote in your diaries now!

When converting scores from imps to VPs, would team captains please use the EBU Discrete Scale for matches of 8 boards, not the Continuous Scale. This Scale is in a table at the end of the Competition Rules and can also be found by clicking on Conversion Scale n the Important Links panel on the right hand side.

The organisers occasionally receive queries about permitted systems and conventions in the Yorkshire League and the Online Yorkshire League. They are Level 4 as described in the current edition of the EBU Blue Book.
