YCBA will be staging an annual multiple teams competition, the Waddington Cup final, on Sunday 13th July at York Bridge Club,

Originally, the Waddington Cup final was intended for the winners of local leagues.     The competition rules state that clubs may organise qualifying events.    However,  if your club has not arranged a qualifying event, and won’t have time to do so before the date of the final, you may still enter.   YCBA will accept the entry of teams selected in any way clubs think fit.

Clubs may enter either one or two teams.

It will be a two-session event starting at 1.00 pm, with a break for refreshments.   The entry fee inclusive of the cost of refreshments, will be £96 per team.    To enter, please email robinjepson1951@gmail.com giving the players’ names and EBU numbers, and also indicate any special dietary requirements.

The entry fees should be sent by BACS to Yorkshire Contract Bridge Association, sort code 09-02-22, account number 10861509.      Please quote reference WCF and the club name.

The Tournament Director will be James Carpenter.
