This competition, for teams of four representing clubs, will take place at York Bridge Club.    There will be two sessions playing about 48 boards altogether.    Starting time 1.00 pm and finishing round about 8.30 pm.

The Waddington Cup competition was originally intended for the winners of local leagues.     The competition rules state that clubs may organise qualifying events.     If your club has not arranged a qualifying event, and won’t have time to do so before the date of the final, don’t worry.   We’ll accept entries of teams selected in any way clubs think fit.      

Clubs may enter either one or two teams.     If you would like to enter a team on behalf of your club but haven’t yet seen any local publicity about the competition, please contact your club secretary or competitions secretary.

The entry fee will be £108 per team which includes a buffet meal between sessions.

The tournament director will be James Carpenter.
