YCBA’s Tournament Committee has decided to rename this competition after Philip Mason, who was Chair of YCBA for 25 years from 1990 to 2015.

The competition is for teams of four representing clubs.    There will be two sessions playing about 48 boards altogether.    Starting time 1.00 pm and finishing round about 8.30 pm.

The competition was originally intended for the winners of local leagues.     Clubs may, if they wish, organise qualifying events.     If your club has not arranged a qualifying event, and won’t have time to do so before the date of the final, don’t worry.   We’ll accept entries of teams selected in any way clubs think fit.      

Clubs may enter either one or two teams.    

The entry fee will include a buffet meal between sessions.
